Having completed general practice training in the UK Dr Helena Rosengren immigrated to Australia in 1994. She has worked as an accomplished skin cancer doctor in Townsville for well over a decade establishing the Skin Repair Skin Cancer Clinic in 2009.
With an eye for meticulous attention to detail (and the gentle encouragement of friends!) she started to train in cosmetic medicine in 2009 establishing a successful cosmetic clinic under the umbrella of Skin Repair.
Accompanied by a team of dedicated staff sharing Helena’s passion for excellence in patient care and cosmetic outcome this clinic became so successful that demand outstripped available space. With the need for a stand-alone clinic, Helena founded Skinovation in 2017.
Lyndie completed her nursing training in Broken Hill NSW where she continued to work until moving to Townsville in 2005. She has worked closely with Dr Helena Rosengren for 12 years completing further training in both skin cancer and cosmetic medicine to help her deliver the highest quality skin care treatments.
With an eye for detail and striving for excellence she has become a competent practitioner in the provision of the cosmetic treatments we offer. Her skill level, competence, happy disposition and compassionate nature make us proud to have Lyndie working at SkinOvation.
Having obtained CIBTAC and CIDESCO Diplomas of Beauty Therapy from Cork College of Commerce (Ireland) Laura worked in aesthetic and beauty therapy in Cardiff (Wales) and later in County Waterford (Ireland) in prestigious clinics for many years.
She moved to Australia in 2008 initially working as a beauty therapist in Perth. The following year, Laura relocated to Townsville to study a Certificate III in Aged Care and then went on to complete her Diploma in Enrolled Nursing. She has been employed by Blue Care as a nurse since 2011.
Laura joined the Skin Repair team in 2014 where both her nursing and aesthetic beauty skills have been greatly appreciated. With Skinovation opening its doors, Laura’s skill set and caring nature is a real asset for the clinic.
Qualifying as a nurse in Japan, Miho moved to North Queensland in 2006. Having found her vocation Miho graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Science from James Cook University in 2015.
Skin Repair was honoured to welcome Miho in 2016 and here she discovered a passion for anti-ageing and beauty enhancing treatments with an evidence-based approach. Her thirst for knowledge and comforting disposition make her an integral part of our team.
